Cherry Blossoms

The cherry blossom trees in Japan are just amazing. I wish I could take these trees back to the US with me. In 2013 we explored Shinjuku park during the cherry blossom season. It was absolutely amazing.

About Sara

Photography has always been a part of my life. For as long as I can remember my dad has always had a camera in his hand. I was always fascinated by the photos he took of our family growing up and loved his famous slide shows. When I was in High School I took my first black and white photography class and my dad let me use one of his all manual cameras. I had no idea what I was doing but I knew that I loved everything from taking the pictures to developing them in the dark room. My first real camera came as I graduated from High School. I used it here and there but it wasn't until after I had my own children that I really started to learn and develop my passion for capturing those unforgettable moments. As much as I try to cherish each moment I have with my own children I also realize that there is nothing quite like a photograph to bring to rememberance all those wonderful, simple moments in life. I developed my passion for capturing people through the experience of photographing families, children, and babies. It was during that time that I was able to learn more about composition, light, and my own personal style. After a couple of years of running my own small photography business I decided that my true passion with photography lies in my personal work. When I am not taking pictures of my own children I enjoy traveling around capturing all that I see around me. Life is all about the ADVENTURE. Photography is just one part of that adventure for me!
